Nathalie  Certificate 3 Child Care Educator The idea of Freedom center emerged in 2022 when I was working in different Day care in Sydney and noticed that the children wasn’t in the center of the educational program but have to fit in it.  It became obvious that children should be free to choose their activities by themself and being listen by the educator about what they feel instead of be directed by them one activity to an other.  In 2023, I was hosting the bread baking and pottery classes at the French school of Maroubra as AES teacher that inspired me to propose original and fun activities in my centre. I also came from a big country side family with many relatives who are farmers. That teach me the basics of growing my own foods, cook it, put in conserve and storage. It is what I want to offer in this centre, learn to grow vegetables in a share garden in Maroubra, show to the kids how to cook them and taste the incredible food that we made together. Inspired by Montessori, Freedom is a centre where your children will understand how to become independent and self confident by immersive learning and connecting to his environment. For Freedom this involves time for outdoor activities, games, learning and well-being. Freedom provides a wide range of activities to awaken children to music, nature, art, animals, new languages and themselves. Intellectual development is taken into account as well as social, physical and emotional development. Freedom is a place of well-being where plants, animals and beings in the moment, live in harmony. Freedom through its concept of freedom will not share any personal point of view on religions, politics or supporting a sport team considering what is important are our similarities, not our differences. The morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are made with organic fruits and vegetables from local organic producers «Farmer and Son », the meat are from family owned butcher shop « Peters meat » providing quality produce.
